*Do not choose your religion too early, It is often beneficial to see what your enemies have chosen so you can pick a Form that will allow you to best them.
*See what your neighbors have chosen. Perhaps you could choose a larger Form if you've NAPd with someone who has chosen Bork or Incinerak.
Swapping Temples is a very cost-efficient way to cover all of your bases.
*Each Religion has a boon as well as a disadvantage, make the best use of the form you have chosen.
if you have incinerak, then put forces with it, if you've chosen Bork, then sneak along forest bands of regions, hide it as it crosses plains etc.
*consider your reasons for choosing any one religion, maybe you have a lot of enemies, so go cheap & pump them out.
If your surrounded by lakes or mtns, perhaps choose a form that can traverse that region type.
Fuel is certainly another consideration.
Another thing to keep in mind as you play the game is the Religion Bonus, this will double your Survival Bonus if you meet the following conditions.
1)You have survived the game.
2)You have the same religion as the player who CAST OUT the game.
To that end, many players find it advantageous to seek out players of their own religion to form a "team" with the goal of casting out.
If all of the Zans for example, got together and pooled their Fury, they might cast out the game (one player having all 6 BB's) and all gain at least 4xp (2xp Survival, 2xp Religion Bonus)!!
So the Religion Bonus is always something to keep in your thoughts.
In the next email, we will discuss the first of the Religions, Incinerak.
War well my friends.
